AM : It speaks to time from 12 PM to early afternoon. (12:00 AM to 11:59 AM). For instance: If you state that you need to go school at 10 AM, it implies 10 O’clock in the first part of the day.
PM : It speaks to time from early afternoon to not long before 12 PM. (12 Pm to 11:59 PM). For instance: If you state that you need to take supper at 10 PM, it implies 10 O’clock in the night.
